Things to do in Shogran


Shogran (Urdu: شوگران ‎) is a hill station situated on a green plateau in the Kaghan Valley, northern Pakistan at a height of 7,749 feet or 2,362 metres above sea level.
Shogran is located at a distance of 34 km away from Balakot. The road from Islamabad to Kiwai is metalled and measures 212 km. From Shogran, you can ride a jeep or horse or hike to several picturesque places like Siri Paye and Makra Peak.

If you make a trip to Shogran then do make it for 2 days trip to shogran as it is very peaceful place and has 2 very famous spots like Siri paye meadows and Makra peak. If you want to go to siri paye meadows you must book a jeep from shogran which mostly takes 2500 on both side and jeep can have upto 9 people if you're good at negotiation you could make it up to 2000 per jeep.From shogran its almost 75 minutes jeep ride to Siri paye .its on the top and has a beautiful view which is mostly covered with clouds and fog .You can avail horses at Siri paye to look around and go to its maximum peak. Siri paye is mostly cold and normally remains 0 degree even at summer season as well.
